Daniel Orejon (he/him) is an Edinburgh-based director, writer and performer. Originally from Madrid, he moved to Scotland in 2011 to pursue a career in the arts. Since then, he has collaborated with over a hundred companies, creatives and organisations, including the University of Edinburgh, the Edinburgh Multilingual Stories Festival, the Edinburgh Science Festival, Scottish Youth Theatre and Strange Town. He specialises in projects that focus on multilingualism, queerness and mental health, with a special fondness for all things Hispanic.

In 2019 Daniel founded the Crested Fools as a platform to develop his practice and explore the stories he felt were missing from the British theatre scene. As its artistic director, he has created The Rotting Hart, Becquer's Legends and the unproduced A Band on Ilmoor's Fields.

Daniel is available for work as a director, writer and performer. For a breakdown of his acting credits, you can check his Spotlight profile. And for any enquiries regarding creative jobs, collaborations and services, you can drop him an email on here.
